COA is developed with input from the Saskatchewan Health Authority and medical offices in Saskatoon. Axiom Career College offers small classes to provide you with the support you need. What About Work Experience?
What about work experience?
Sometimes people who are thinking about going back to school are worried about not having any experience when applying for jobs as a new grad. This is understandable! It is a very common worry for new students.
Axiom's advice? Don't worry! Some establishments do count your four months of in class time as experience! Our classes are set up and run as an office setting, so you will be more than prepared for your first employment! This changes everything!
Axiom's instructors have been involved in their specialties for many years. They bring with them experience, knowledge, and support to help you through your education as well as continuous help and support once you have completed your education! Axiom believes in being constantly up-to-date with educating our students, which means our instructors are even still employed in their area of specialty. This changes everything!
Is a Practicum Available?
Axiom also offers two-week practicums for qualifying students. These practicums are available within the Saskatoon Health Region, surrounding medical offices, as well as specialist offices. Don't forget - just because you have obtained a diploma as a Clinical Office Assistant - it does not mean that you have to work in a certain place! There are so many different areas that you can gain employment in. Get in touch with us for more information!
